Spring Snow Melt

Golf courses built at the bases of the western ski slopes battle annual snow melts. Turf Drainage Company of America has applied its drainage principles to drainage designs for these courses. Deep seepage drainage, a specialty at TDA, is used in combination with surface collection of melting snow as it flows in streams on the property. The collected waters are transported through gravity systems when applicable, but in some cases, these collection systems deposit their waters into the patented Turf Drain Siphon System for transportation off of the property. The Turf Drain Siphon System can be invaluable when trying to grade pipe in the rocky soils that are often present on these properties.
